I Love Happy Bunny

I discovered Happy Bunny at Claire's store in South Common probably about this time last year. I love the messages he has, they are true and to the point. Not every quote has to be floofy to be inspirational.
I have a notebook that says "Crazy Doesn't Even Begin to cover It". It is so true! I think I will use it for my therapy sessions. I bought the watch that says "Cute but Psycho". I will be able to pass it down to Justine, once she can tell time.

Women's History Month

Women's History month, didn't know it existed. But since it does lets think about the histroy of the women who mean the most to us, our mothers, sisters, aunts and (for me especially) grandmothers. Maybe they aren't written in a history book or perhaps they don't have their biographies published, but I know they are important because if it weren't for them we wouldn't be here, or be the people we are today. One of my favourite women Erma Bombeck. I admire her for finding humor in the daily dissapointments and distasters. I find that life is easier to deal with when you can laugh at yourself. Here is something she wrote before she lost her fight with cancer.

IF I HAD MY LIFE TO LIVE OVER - by Erma Bombeck (written after she found out she was dying from cancer).
I would have gone to bed when I was sick instead of pretending the earth would go into a holding pattern if I weren't there for the day. I would have burned the pink candle sculpted like a rose before it melted in storage. I would have talked less and listened more. I would have invited friends over to dinner even if the carpet was stained, or the sofa faded. I would have eaten the popcorn in the 'good' living room and worried much less about the dirt when someone wanted to light a fire in the fireplace. I would have taken the time to listen to my grandfather ramble about his youth. I would have shared more of the responsibility carried by my husband. I would never have insisted the car windows be rolled up on a summer day because my hair had just been teased and sprayed. I would have sat on the lawn with my grass stains. I would have cried and laughed less while watching television and more while watching life. I would never have bought anything just because it was practical, wouldn't show soil, or was guaranteed to last a lifetime. Instead of wishing away nine months of pregnancy, I'd have cherished every moment and realized that the wonderment growing inside me was the only chance in life to assist God in a miracle. When my kids kissed me impetuously, I would never have said, "Later. Now go get washed up for dinner." There would have been more "I love you's." More "I'm sorry's." But mostly, given another shot at life, I would seize every minute...look at it and really see it . live it and never give it back. Stop sweating the small stuff. Don't worry about who doesn't like you, who has more, or who's doing what. Instead, let's cherish the relationships we have with those who do love us. Let's think about what God HAS blessed us with. And what we are doing each day to promote ourselves mentally, physically, emotionally. I hope you all have a blessed day.

Sending Love to Fellow Bloggers

I have been searching blogs and finding so many interesting people out there. I wish I had more time to read and contemplate, and understand all that everyone has share. I have the opportunity to "chat" with people from all over the world (at my leisure), and to be a part of their lives, as they are invited to be a part of mine (as it is...).
No, I am not being niave in believing I know these people or that they could possibly know me. I just find it like getting to have a variety of sitcomes, dramas, etc. to "watch" , and even get to catch up on some episodes if you happend to miss any.
So to all the bloggers who I agree with (or do not), who I relate with (or do not), who share and reveal parts of their lives for my personal growth and/or personal entertainment, THANK YOU!

Dollarama!

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Yahoo! We have a Dollarama in Leduc! It is an actual dollar store, nothing is over a dollar, or loonie as we have here in Canada. They have quality stuff, not like some of those other dollar store that you pay seven bucks for, bring it home and it falls apart within a few hours. I know, its a little sad that I am SO excited about a dollar store, but if you have been in one, you know what I'm talkin' about. For those of us who have a rather tight budget, or people who don't feel they have to spend hoards of money to get good stuff, this is a heavenly place.

If My Life Was a Movie

The Movie Of Your Life Is A Cult Classic
Quirky, offbeat, and even a little campy - your life appeals to a select few.But if someone's obsessed with you, look out! Your fans are downright freaky.Your best movie matches: Office Space, Showgirls, The Big Lebowski
This sounds about right, a little starnge, but interesting enough that you might stay up late to watch it, then wonder why the next day.

Me, the hubby our 3 kids! Posted by Picasa

Intro

Welcome to my blog. I am a mom of 3 great kids (2 boys and a girl). My boys (ages 7 and 5) are typical boys who love video games etc., and though my daughter (age 4) is very girly she has a major wild side that causes her and I to often collide (thus 2 outta 3 aint bad).
I am a Pre-School Instructor ( I teach only Tues. and Thurs. mornings), I clean offices on weekends, and I also babysit consistently, but part time. I wish I could make a living on just the Pre-School, but there just aren't enough hours.
I am a self diagnosed Adult ADD sufferer. I cannot concentrate on one thing for too long (other than the comp. or scrapbooking) and I find it almost impossible to multi task effectively. My husband (of 8 1/2 yrs) who was born organized, just doesn't get why I have such a hard time accomplishing things. Lucky for me he loves me faults and all!
I am whole heartedly in love with scrapbooking! Though I rarely find time to sit down and do any major sessions. I started when it was just paper, photos, and stickers. Now there are so many embellishments that go along with it, it makes one's head spin. I especially enjoy adding rubber stamping to the process.
I love people, and am excited to get know anyone who happens to collide with my life.
Please leave posts at your leisure.
