Getting Ready for Holidays...
Well, it seems we will be leaving for the Cabin in 2 days.
I have to work tonight (at the video store), Trevor is going to sign the papers on our new van tonight while I am at work at the video store. He's gonna have to take our 3 kids plus my nephew who is staying with us. Then tomorrow I am taking my kids, Spencer, plus the dayhome kids to Black Gold Centre for a BBQ, swimming, then we are off to see the new Transformers movie, and then I get to pick up the van (hopefully they are done putting the hitch for the trailer on it!). As far as I know Sepncer is being picked up Friday eve.?
I work again tomorrow night until 10. Saturday morning we will all go out for a family breakfast (yes Trevor we are celecrating our new van ;P). Then off to get groceries for out at the lake. Then once we get home we'll have to pack up, you don't want to see the list! We night get out there by 3, if we are lucky!
Whew, a lot of work to take time ot relax.

Did you know?
My roommate and I once: never had a roommate, unless you count my sister
Never in my life have I: smoked pot
High school was : so not a reflection of the real world
When I'm nervous : I chew the hell out of my lips (or recently the inside of my cheeks)
My hair : changes all the time, the length, the colour...
When I was 5 : I spent a lot of time by myself
When I turn my head left : I see the wall right next to where I have my comp.
I should be : unloading the dishwasher
By this time next year : I'll be 31, and I doubt much better off...
My favorite aunt is : my Auntie Joan (just met her about 8 years ago)
My favorite aunt is : my Auntie Joan (just met her about 8 years ago)
I have a hard time understanding : why it takes so long for us to grow up and realize what we really want from life. Sometimes so late it is hard to achieve our new goals.
You know I like you if : I touch you, I make an effort to touch people since I believe that people don't recieve or give touch enough, but I gotta really like you
My ideal breakfast is : a western omelet with hashbrowns
If you visit my home town : you would wonder why anyone would want to live here!
If you spend the night at my house : I'd have to clear a space for you
My favorite blonde is : Reese Witherspoon
My favorite brunette is : Carmen Electra
The animal I would like to see flying besides birds : a pig, just to ruin the saying
.I should have been : a dancer
Last night I: went for coffee with Bern
A better name for me would be : excatly what it is (or mom, which it is too)
If I could have any car, it would be : a Hummer. Oh the horror for all pedestrians and other motorists

http://www.albertafarmfresh.com/roy_fruit.htm
4) check out the Scrapbook Store @ Pigeon Lake (still am looking for more info on this if anyone has more please let me know)
5) go wading at the Leg Grounds (can you believe I have never done this!)
6) celebrtate Trevor and Tate's birthdays at the end of July (not sure what we are doing for Tate, I am open to any ideas)
7) go spend some time at my sister's in Dapp (20 mins North of Westlock)
8) go for a walk down by the river in Devon

French Twist (Scrapbooking)

I love this paper line done by Rhonna Farer for Autumn leaves. Love the colours, love the doodlies, LOVE the Owl.
I wanna do a page for my Grandma with it and know which pic I wanna use. She has on this bathing suit with tassled edeging, yeah tassles on a bathing suit.
No, my Grandma was not a show girl or a stripper. But anyway ther are two pics. One she is just standing so politely, then in the next one she is showing her personality!
These colours would compliment the feeling I get from these pictures!
And , well the Owl just perfects it all!
Now, I just need to get those pictures from my sister. Hey Lexanne if your reading this find those pictures, eh?
Catch Phrase
You know how everybody has liek a saying or phrase that you know is them. Sometimes their sayings rub off on you and you end up saying them. We have a friend, Chris O. who for some reason has this effect on people (he has probably 30 phrases). you'll meet up with a mutual friend and they be saying all these Chrisisms, so you know they've been hanging out with him a lot lately.
Some of my phrases or more like words are: brilliant, lovely, and I'll ring you.
Yes, I obviously want to be British.
I even planted a Olde English Garden, but that's another post all together.

~If you haven't been to it yet, I highly recommend it. I have reconnected with people that I haven't heard from in years. Found out how unbelievably small the world is. How inter connected we are, how I could NEVER get waya with something 'cause somebody i know from one group knows somebody from another! So there goes my whole idea for a double life. G-damn it!!

Thoughts to Ponder...
This is from the newest issue of Body & Soul magazine.
Ten Thoughts on Whole Living.
2. Creativity is a lifestyle, not simply an activity. Let is expand you.
3. True forgiveness springs from love, not regret.
4. Learn something new. Emphasize the trying, not the succeeding.
5. Spend some time in the dirt. You'll be amazed at what nature can inspire.
6. You don't have to have a perfect body to feel great in it.
7. Define yourself by who you are, not the roles you play.
8. Find rejuvination in five minutes of silence.
9. Contribute to abundance. If you no longer need something, pass it on.
10. Find direction in your life by looking where you want to go, not where you don't.
Ten Thoughts on Whole Living.
I can really appreciate its message at this time of change and (hopefully) growth.
1. Your home is more than the sum of its walls. Make it a sacred space.

Crazy Dreams
I have THE craziest dreams. I have always said that I should write them all down so I can use them for short stories or movie scripts.
So I'll share some of my main dream from last night with ya.
I dunno exactly when this was supposed to have taken place, but it was after 2010 because apparently in June of 2010 there was a major terrorist attack in Canada.
The dream took place in a huge building seemed like either a museum or a government building. I was there with the school for a fieldtrip (Trevor and all the kids were there too).
It was really crowded, there were a lot of other school groups there. All of the sudden they started to round us all up into groups. There were security guards who wouldn't let us leave from the specified area. I snuck out so I could find the kids and Trevor. This started major rebellion, since other families had been separated as well. (Leave it up to me to start chaos)
There were alarms going off outside (like the storm warning siren). We all started talking about the terrorist attacks in 2010, and wondered if this was another one. There was lots of looking for people, helping others find their families, sneaking away from the guards, but finally the doors were opened and we found that all the buildings in the area (office buildinsg etc.) had also been locked up. At this point Diva woke me up, so I never found out what the cause of all the commotion was.
